Pourtant, consomm\u00e9s en trop grande quantit\u00e9, ils pourraient avoir des effets nocifs sur la sant\u00e9 humaine. Dans le cadre de la nouvelle l\u00e9gislation sur les substances aromatisantes, les d\u00e9put\u00e9s europ\u00e9ens doivent se prononcer sur des seuils maximum autoris\u00e9s dans nos assiettes.<\/p>\n<p>Naturellement pr\u00e9sentes dans les ar\u00f4mes et dans les ingr\u00e9dients alimentaires de certaines denr\u00e9es alimentaires compos\u00e9es, certaines substances ind\u00e9sirables des herbes et des \u00e9pices vont faire l\u2019objet d\u2019une nouvelle l\u00e9gislation. La teneur en \u00ab substances toxicologiquement pr\u00e9occupantes \u00bb sera contr\u00f4l\u00e9e et un seuil maximal fix\u00e9 pour les denr\u00e9es alimentaires pr\u00e9sentant le risque le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour la sant\u00e9 humaine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/staging.sillon38.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/canelle.jpg\" alt=\"canelle.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>cannelle naturelle: bient\u00f4t un seuil maximal autoris\u00e9\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Quelques exceptions sont envisag\u00e9es : ces teneurs maximales ne s&rsquo;appliqueront pas aux denr\u00e9es alimentaires qui comprennent, pour seul ar\u00f4me ajout\u00e9, des herbes ou des \u00e9pices fra\u00eeches, s\u00e9ch\u00e9es ou congel\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Le Parlement europ\u00e9en va se prononcer cette semaine sur la question : selon la d\u00e9put\u00e9e slov\u00e8ne Mojca Dr\u010dar Murko, auteur du rapport, une solution de compromis serait de fixer un seuil maximal pour certaines herbes et \u00e9pices, si les preuves ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablies qu\u2019ils sont dangereux pour la sant\u00e9 publique&#8230;lorsqu\u2019ils sont consomm\u00e9s en trop grande quantit\u00e9.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Les \u00e9tudes scientifiques sur les animaux ont montr\u00e9 que les herbes et les \u00e9pices pouvaient \u00eatre canc\u00e9rig\u00e8nes. La sant\u00e9 humaine est donc en danger ?<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00ab La Commission europ\u00e9enne a en effet bas\u00e9e sa proposition l\u00e9gislative sur des tests r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur des souris. Ils n\u2019ont pas utilis\u00e9 des herbes et des \u00e9pices en tant que tels, mais des substances biologiques dites actives qui existent dans la nature. Le r\u00e9sultat est donc diff\u00e9rent, puisque les herbes et les \u00e9pices comme le basilic, la noix de muscade ou l\u2019anis, sont consomm\u00e9s depuis des si\u00e8cles sans que l\u2019on observe d\u2019effet n\u00e9gatif. Et puis la nature a r\u00e9tabli des m\u00e9canismes de d\u00e9fense et les derniers tests ont montr\u00e9 que les substances nocives pr\u00e9sentes dans les herbes utilis\u00e9es sont non seulement neutres, mais peuvent m\u00eame \u00eatre anticanc\u00e9reuses ! \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Certains produits compos\u00e9s majoritairement d\u2019herbes et \u00e9pices pourraient d\u00e9passer les seuils autoris\u00e9s et \u00eatre interdits : le pesto italien ou les g\u00e2teaux \u00e0 la cannelle vont-ils dispara\u00eetre de nos supermarch\u00e9s ?<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00ab Non, le pesto ne dispara\u00eetra pas des \u00e9tals de supermarch\u00e9s, tout simplement parce que la Commission europ\u00e9enne a accord\u00e9 une d\u00e9rogation \u00e0 l\u2019Italie pour ses \u00ab produits traditionnels \u00bb, tant qu\u2019ils ne d\u00e9passent pas le seuil autoris\u00e9. Il est par contre probable que les producteurs devront troquer la cannelle naturelle contre de l\u2019ar\u00f4me de cannelle, pour qu\u2019il n\u2019y ait pas de probl\u00e8mes avec le seuil maximal autoris\u00e9. Selon certaines donn\u00e9es, c\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs d\u00e9j\u00e0 le cas : la consommation de cannelle a chut\u00e9 de 30% en Allemagne l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re et la Grande-Bretagne ne l\u2019utilise plus \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat naturel -seulement en ar\u00f4me. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Autre mesure d\u00e9fendue par la d\u00e9put\u00e9e slov\u00e8ne : les ar\u00f4mes dits \u00ab naturels \u00bb devront l\u2019\u00eatre \u00e0 au moins 95% pour \u00eatre d\u00e9clar\u00e9s en tant que tel.<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport de Mojca Dr\u010dar Murko sera d\u00e9battu lundi soir en session pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re, parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 deux autres rapports sur les additifs et sur les enzymes.<\/p>\n<p><em>Source: Parlement europ\u00e9en <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Basilic, noix de muscade ou anis : autant d\u2019herbes et \u00e9pices qui parfument d\u00e9licieusement nos plats ou nos boissons.
