Tout au long des diverses \u00e9tapes du chantier, EDF a veill\u00e9 \u00e0 limiter autant<br \/>\nque possible la g\u00eane occasionn\u00e9e et \u00e0 assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sur et aux abords du chantier. Cette coop\u00e9ration<br \/>\nde tous (collectivit\u00e9s, entreprises et EDF) a permis sa r\u00e9ussite. Pendant toute la p\u00e9riode de travaux, la<br \/>\nproduction d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 s\u2019est poursuivie \u00e0 la centrale hydro\u00e9lectrique de St Guillerme 2.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Pour r\u00e9aliser les quatre \u00e9tapes de travaux, 8 km d\u2019\u00e9chafaudages ont habill\u00e9 le barrage, rendant possible le travail<br \/>\nconjoint de pr\u00e8s de 70 salari\u00e9s, quelles que soient les conditions climatiques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">La premi\u00e8re phase d\u2019intervention a consist\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la pression li\u00e9e au ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d\u2019alcali-r\u00e9action (gonflement<br \/>\ndu b\u00e9ton). Pour diminuer et anticiper ses effets \u00e0 venir, 7 sciages verticaux, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9s avec un c\u00e2ble<br \/>\ndiamant\u00e9 de 16 mm de diam\u00e8tre. R\u00e9utilisant les empreintes de ceux r\u00e9alis\u00e9s de 1995 \u00e0 1997, ils sont plus larges<br \/>\net plus profonds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Lors de la deuxi\u00e8me phase, afin de consolider la partie sup\u00e9rieure du barrage, 415 tirants horizontaux ont \u00e9t\u00e9<br \/>\ninstall\u00e9s. Ils traversent le barrage de l\u2019amont vers l\u2019aval. Une des particularit\u00e9s de ces tirants est que leur tension<br \/>\npeut \u00eatre r\u00e9gl\u00e9e pour s&rsquo;adapter aux \u00e9volutions du b\u00e9ton. 62 d\u2019entre eux sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s de capteurs de tension reli\u00e9s<br \/>\nau syst\u00e8me de t\u00e9l\u00e9-auscultation du barrage, pour surveiller le fonctionnement du dispositif.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Ensuite, le dispositif des tirants a \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019amont par un maillage fibre de carbone permettant de relier les<br \/>\nt\u00eates deux \u00e0 deux afin de confiner l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de la zone. Il est constitu\u00e9 de 6000 m\u00e8tres lin\u00e9aires de bandes de<br \/>\ntissu en fibres de carbone de 20 \u00e0 30 cm de largeur, coll\u00e9es au b\u00e9ton du parement amont.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Ultime \u00e9tape, 9000 m2 d\u2019une nouvelle membrane d\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pos\u00e9s pour recouvrir l\u2019ensemble du parement<br \/>\namont.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Le bon d\u00e9roulement de ce chantier r\u00e9sulte du travail de concertation r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en amont avec l\u2019ensemble des acteurs<br \/>\nterritoriaux. Ainsi, durant les vacances scolaires, lors des 3 passages du Tour de France et lors d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nements<br \/>\nlocaux tels que le derby de la Meije, l\u2019emprise du chantier a \u00e9t\u00e9 neutralis\u00e9e pour faciliter les flux de circulation. La<br \/>\nbonne r\u00e9alisation du chantier, dans le respect des d\u00e9lais et de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des intervenants, est aussi le r\u00e9sultat de<br \/>\nla coop\u00e9ration entre les entreprises et EDF UP Alpes, appuy\u00e9 par son Centre d\u2019Ing\u00e9nierie Hydraulique (CIH).<br \/>\nEn 2015, EDF pr\u00e9pare la remont\u00e9e progressive de la c\u00f4te de la retenue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Comme tous les grands barrages exploit\u00e9s par EDF, le barrage du Chambon* fait l\u2019objet d\u2019une surveillance<br \/>\npermanente. Les dispositifs d\u2019auscultation adapt\u00e9s aux sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s de cet ouvrage permettent \u00e0 EDF de suivre<br \/>\nr\u00e9guli\u00e8rement l\u2019\u00e9volution de sa structure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">*le barrage du Chambon a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit en 1935 ; son exploitation a \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 EDF en
