Ils font l\u2019objet d\u2019un premier  article publi\u00e9 dans la revue en libre acc\u00e8s <em>Molecular Ecology Resources<\/em>, avant une publication finalis\u00e9e des r\u00e9sultats dans les prochains mois.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Ch\u00eane p\u00e9doncul\u00e9. \u00a9 Inra, A. Kremer \" \/><\/span><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<table title=\"texte\" border=\"0\" cellpadding=\"2\" width=\"100%\" summary=\"texte\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Arbre embl\u00e9matique, le ch\u00eane p\u00e9doncul\u00e9 (<em>Quercus robur<\/em>) fait partie de la section botanique la plus importante du genre <em>Quercus<\/em> : les ch\u00eanes blancs, dont on d\u00e9nombre 200 esp\u00e8ces et qui sont pr\u00e9sents \u00e0  la fois en Europe, en Asie et en Am\u00e9rique. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un consortium pilot\u00e9  par l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bordeaux-aquitaine.inra.fr\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Inra de Bordeaux-Aquitaine<\/a>, en partenariat avec le Centre National de S\u00e9quen\u00e7age du CEA (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.genoscope.cns.fr\/spip\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">G\u00e9noscope<\/a>),  le g\u00e9nome du ch\u00eane p\u00e9doncul\u00e9 vient d&rsquo;\u00eatre s\u00e9quenc\u00e9. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Trois ann\u00e9es de  travaux ont permis de d\u00e9crypter l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;information g\u00e9n\u00e9tique  port\u00e9e par ses 12 paires de chromosomes. Le consortium a caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 50  000 g\u00e8nes et estim\u00e9 que la moiti\u00e9 des 1,5 milliard de paires de base du  g\u00e9nome \u00e9tait constitu\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ments r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> C\u2019est la premi\u00e8re  r\u00e9alisation pour une esp\u00e8ce du genre <em>Quercus<\/em>, qui occupe une place importante au plan \u00e9conomique, \u00e9cologique, mais aussi culturel dans de nombreux pays.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/td>\n<td valign=\"top\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span style=\"width: 400px;\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"&lt;p&gt;S\u00e9quen\u00e7age Ch\u00eane p\u00e9doncul\u00e9&lt;\/p&gt;. \u00a9 Inra, A. Kremer <\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome du  ch\u00eane p\u00e9doncul\u00e9 constitue une porte d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e unique pour analyser et  comprendre la fonction des g\u00e8nes de cet arbre embl\u00e9matique. Son g\u00e9nome  aura ainsi valeur de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour les autres esp\u00e8ces de ch\u00eanes blancs,  mais \u00e9galement pour des esp\u00e8ces plus \u00e9loign\u00e9es de la famille des  Fagac\u00e9es (Ch\u00e2taignier ou H\u00eatre).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> Il permettra d\u2019\u00e9tudier la r\u00e9gulation  interne des esp\u00e8ces tr\u00e8s long\u00e9vives expos\u00e9es \u00e0 de forte variations  climatiques annuelles, voire \u00e0 des \u00e9v\u00e9nements extr\u00eames au cours de leur  vie. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Ces recherches faciliteront \u00e9galement l\u2019identification des g\u00e8nes  impliqu\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;adaptation \u00e0 l&rsquo;environnement ou dans les relations  symbiotiques entre leurs racines et les champignons mycorhiziens (comme  le myc\u00e9lium de la truffe). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Elles permettront aussi l\u2019identification des  g\u00e8nes responsables de la biosynth\u00e8se des extractibles du bois, tels que  les tannins et whisky lactone, qui conf\u00e8rent leur saveur et leur go\u00fbt  aux vins et alcools. Au plan de l\u2019\u00e9volution, la s\u00e9quence du g\u00e9nome du  ch\u00eane permet d&rsquo;ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 aux chercheurs d\u2019analyser plus finement les  processus d\u2019adaptation locale et de sp\u00e9ciation qui expliquent la  diversit\u00e9 de ces arbres qui ont colonis\u00e9s des milieux tr\u00e8s diversifi\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Ces  travaux constituent une avanc\u00e9e majeure dans la connaissance de la  biologie, de la g\u00e9n\u00e9tique et de l\u2019\u00e9volution des arbres, qui sera  largement valoris\u00e9e dans les recherches \u00e0 venir portant sur la structure  et le fonctionnement du g\u00e9nome de ces esp\u00e8ces p\u00e9rennes. Au-del\u00e0 de la  connaissance acad\u00e9mique, ces recherches ouvrent des perspectives dans  des domaines plus appliqu\u00e9s, en r\u00e9ponse aux multiples questions  soci\u00e9tales portant sur l\u2019\u00e9volution des for\u00eats.<\/span><\/p>\n<table title=\"R\u00e9sultats\" border=\"1\" cellpadding=\"2\" width=\"100%\" summary=\"R\u00e9sultats\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"background:;color:;border:px solid black;\" valign=\"top\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Des r\u00e9sultats partag\u00e9s<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Conform\u00e9ment  aux accords internationaux des Bermudes (1998) et de Fort Lauderdale  (2003), ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la d\u00e9claration de Toronto (2009), les donn\u00e9es du  s\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome du ch\u00eane sont mises librement \u00e0 disposition de la  communaut\u00e9 scientifique (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bordeaux-aquitaine.inra.fr\/www.oakgenome.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.oakgenome.fr<\/a>), avant la publication de l\u2019article scientifique finalis\u00e9 par le consortium pr\u00e9vue dans les prochains mois.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Projet GENOAK<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Ce  s\u00e9quen\u00e7age, l&rsquo;assemblage et l&rsquo;annotation du g\u00e9nome du ch\u00eane constitue  un r\u00e9sultat du projet \u00ab GENOAK \u00bb (S\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome du ch\u00eane et  identification de g\u00e8nes d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat adaptatifs chez les arbres  forestiers), initi\u00e9 en octobre 2011, co-financ\u00e9 par l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.agence-nationale-recherche.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Agence Nationale de la Recherche<\/a> pour 4 ans et rassemblant plusieurs \u00e9quipes de recherche de l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inra.fr\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Inra<\/a> ainsi que le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.genoscope.cns.fr\/spip\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">G\u00e9noscope<\/a> du CEA.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Des \u00e9quipes de recherche de l\u2019Inra et du CEA viennent de s\u00e9quencer le g\u00e9nome du ch\u00eane p\u00e9doncul\u00e9 (Quercus robur).
